Refund Policy

1. Summary

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made within AudioLaunch. Because AudioLaunch is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, all payments are processed by the store, not by AudioLaunch directly. This means most refund requests must be made through the store where you purchased. This policy tells you exactly how — and describes the additional rights you have under Dutch and EU consumer law.

2. What You Can Purchase

AudioLaunch offers the following categories of paid content:

All purchases are digital goods delivered electronically and become available to use immediately after payment is confirmed.

3. EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Dutch law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Boek 6, Titel 5, Afdeling 2B), consumers in the European Economic Area (EEA) generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

3.1 When this right applies

You can exercise the 14-day withdrawal right if you have not yet started using the digital content you purchased.

3.2 Important exception: immediate delivery

When you buy digital content that is delivered immediately (such as credit bundles, subscriptions, or unlocks inside AudioLaunch), the Store will ask you to expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once delivery begins. This is required by EU law for digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium.

By tapping "Buy" or "Subscribe" and completing the store checkout, you:

  • Request that we begin delivery of the digital content immediately; and
  • Acknowledge that, once delivery has started, you no longer have the right to withdraw under Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.

This does not affect your rights under Dutch consumer law if the product is defective, not as described, or if your statutory rights otherwise apply — see Section 6.

3.3 How to exercise the withdrawal right

If you qualify (i.e. you have not yet used the content), email support@audio-launch.com within 14 days of purchase with:

  • Your order / transaction ID (from the Store receipt)
  • The account email used
  • The platform (Google Play or App Store)

We will confirm receipt and forward your request to the Store where the payment was processed. Refunds are issued through the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

4. Google Play Store Refunds

If you purchased on an Android device, Google handles billing and refunds directly.

4.1 Within 48 hours (automatic)

Google Play generally offers a 2-hour self-service refund window for accidental purchases, and further automated eligibility up to 48 hours for many purchases. To request:

  1. Open play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.
  2. Find the AudioLaunch purchase.
  3. Tap Request a refund or Report a problem and choose the reason.
  4. Submit. You'll receive a decision by email (usually within a few minutes to 4 business days).

4.2 After 48 hours

If the Google Play window has closed, Google will direct you to contact the developer. Email support@audio-launch.com with your order ID and the reason for the request. We will review it against this policy and, where appropriate, submit a developer-initiated refund through the Play Console.

4.3 Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling an AudioLaunch Pro subscription stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period. To cancel:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  2. Select AudioLaunch Pro → Cancel subscription.

5. Apple App Store Refunds

If you purchased on an iOS device or via iTunes, Apple handles billing and refunds directly.

5.1 Request a refund from Apple

  1. Open reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Tap I'd like to → Request a refund.
  3. Choose the reason that best matches your situation → Next.
  4. Select the AudioLaunch purchase → Submit.

Apple will email you a decision, typically within 24–48 hours (up to 7 days in some cases). The outcome is at Apple's discretion based on their policies.

5.2 Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period. To cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your device → tap your name → Subscriptions.
  2. Select AudioLaunch → Cancel Subscription.

6. Defective or Misdescribed Content (Statutory Rights)

Regardless of the 14-day withdrawal right, under Dutch consumer law (Boek 7 BW, Afdeling 2B — conformity of digital content) and Directive (EU) 2019/770, you are entitled to a conforming product. This means the content must:

  • Match the description we provided on the Store or in-app;
  • Be fit for its normal purpose;
  • Be provided with any updates necessary to keep it conforming for a reasonable period.

If AudioLaunch or a specific feature you purchased is defective, fails to work as described, or cannot be delivered due to a technical fault on our side, you are entitled to have the issue remedied — in order: repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. These rights cannot be waived.

To claim under these rights, email support@audio-launch.com with:

  • Your order ID and account email
  • A description of the issue (screenshots or a screen recording help)
  • Your device model and OS version

We aim to respond within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will assist you in obtaining a refund through the Store.

7. Situations Where Refunds Are Generally Not Granted

Outside your statutory rights, refunds are generally not granted in the following cases:

  • Content already consumed: Credits that have been spent, cosmetics that have been applied, or subscription time that has already been used.
  • Change of mind after use: You bought a feature, used it, and later decided you didn't want it.
  • Account violations: Accounts suspended or banned for breach of our Terms of Service, including published content that violates community rules.
  • Third-party issues: Problems caused by your device, operating system, network, or another app outside our control.
  • Gifted or transferred purchases: Purchases made on another person's account, or accounts you no longer have access to.

Your statutory rights under Dutch and EU law (see Section 6) always take precedence over this section.

8. Accidental or Unauthorized Purchases

If a purchase was made accidentally — for example, by a child using your device without permission — we recommend requesting a refund directly through the Store (see Sections 4 and 5). Both Google and Apple have established procedures for unauthorized purchases and typically resolve these quickly.

To help prevent accidental purchases in the future:

  • Android: Google Play → Settings → Require authentication for purchases.
  • iOS: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases.
  • Use your platform's Family controls if the device is shared with children.

9. Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If AudioLaunch Pro is offered with a free trial or introductory price, the following applies:

  • The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends via the Store (Sections 4.3 and 5.2).
  • Once the trial converts and a payment is charged, the refund rules in this policy apply.

10. Price Changes on Subscriptions

If we raise the price of a subscription, the Store will notify you and require your active consent before charging the new price. If you decline, your subscription ends at the next renewal, and you keep access until then. No refund is due for the final paid period at the old price.

11. Model Withdrawal Form (EU Consumers)

You may use the following form to exercise the EU 14-day withdrawal right, but it is not obligatory. Email it to support@audio-launch.com:

12. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your refund request, EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

You can also contact the Dutch consumer authority (Autoriteit Consument & Markt) at acm.nl. Nothing in this policy limits your right to pursue claims in the courts of your country of residence.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Changes do not retroactively apply to purchases made before the change takes effect.
